Q: Are lasers safe?
A: Yes. Our lasers are FDA approved. We are able to treat spider veins, pigmented lesions, and do hair removal with our lasers. We can treat any skin type, and can perform multiple procedures on a patient during the same visit.
Q: Will I get burned with laser treatment?
A: By assessing your skin type, we are able to adjust settings on our lasers to keep you safe and still be effective so you should not experience any burning. We also provide a continuous flow of cool air on the skin before, during and after the procedure. Our air cooling system has six different settings, so we are sure to be able to keep you comfortable.
Q: What is microdermabrasion?

We use Cynosure’s Elite™ workstation for our laser procedures. It is the most comprehensive laser hair removal system available today. It is designed for all skin types. Additionally, the system is designed to effectively treat leg and facial veins and pigmented lesions.
The Elite™ workstation is the best because its revolutionary technology combines two different laser wavelengths into one system: a 755nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064-nm Nd: Yag laser.
We also love this workstation because you can switch wavelengths as needed during a single procedure, allowing us to choose the most appropriate wavelength/laser for any given hair or skin type. We are also able to perform multiple procedures on a patient during the same visit, allowing us to administer treatment much more efficiently.
The MegaPeel® by DermaMed International, Inc. is the microdermabrasion machine we use. It is a physician strength model, so you get a much more effective treatment than with the salon or spa models.
MegaPeel® utilizes crystal microdermabrasion to bring you a nature way to regain a youthful appearance without chemicals, lasers, surgery or extended periods of redness and irritation. We are able to customize your treatment to meet your individual needs. If you need a more aggressive treatment, we can adjust settings on the MegaPeel® to accommodate that treatment.
The MegaPeel® uses a hand piece to gently vacuum crystals onto the surface of the skin and resurface the superficial layers of skin. As the crystals contact the skin, the remove old, dead skin cells and exfoliate the skin beneath, leaving you with beautiful, younger looking, healthy skin.
